MPIGI WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES ASSOCIATION (MPWDA)
Established and registered as a Community Based Organization in 2004 with Mpigi District Local Government. Elevated to a Non- Government Organization in 2022 and registered with the National Bureau for Non-Government Organizations with the Reg. No. 6118. We are mandated to implement in nine lower Local Governments of Mpigi District of which six are Sub-counties; Kituntu sub-county, Nkozi, Buwama, Kammengo, Muduuma and Kiringente and 3 town councils; Mpigi Town Council, Buwama Town Council & Kayabwe Town Council.

MPWDA is guided by a diverse and committed Board of Directors, consisting of nine members representing various disabilities and community roles. The board provides strategic leadership, oversight, and policy direction, ensuring that the organization fulfills its mission to empower women and girls with disabilities. Their expertise and dedication strengthen governance, promote accountability, and support the effective implementation of programs across Mpigi District.
