Advocacy Awareness
MPWDA raises awareness on disability rights and promotes social change in communities. Advocacy campaigns focus on stigma reduction, policy influence, and empowerment of women and girls with disabilities.
We have trained 156 women leaders and formed platforms of 90 peer educators. These leaders act as champions of inclusion, spreading awareness and ensuring community engagement in supporting rights.
Media campaigns, workshops, and community outreach events help change attitudes and promote equality. These programs address harmful practices such as child marriage and exclusion of people with disabilities.
Major Activities:
Communities are more supportive and inclusive of women and girls with disabilities. Through advocacy, MPWDA ensures long-term cultural change, promoting equality, participation, and respect for all.
