Economic Empowerment
MPWDA empowers women with disabilities economically to enhance self-reliance. Through saving schemes, vocational training, and skills development, we help beneficiaries generate income and support their households.
We have formed 36 saving groups, which have increased household incomes and strengthened financial stability. Women with disabilities learn money management, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills through these programs.
The economic empowerment programs also include training in vocational skills such as tailoring and hairdressing. These initiatives provide sustainable income streams and boost confidence and independence.
Major Activities:
Women’s income levels have increased, and households have become more financially secure. Beneficiaries are now able to support themselves and their families independently. By enhancing economic capacity, MPWDA ensures women with disabilities are active contributors to their communities and empowered to make life choices.
