Disability Inclusion
MPWDA works to integrate the needs of women and girls with disabilities into all community programs. This ensures equal access to services and opportunities in health, education, and social life.
Through training and advocacy, we sensitize duty bearers, community leaders, and service providers to the specific challenges faced by people with disabilities. Over 1,046 duty bearers have been engaged, improving policies and practices.
We also create platforms for peer educators and community groups to share experiences and reduce stigma. This encourages participation and inclusion at all levels.
Major Activities:
Women and girls with disabilities enjoy improved rights, participation, and visibility in community programs. These efforts create a culture of inclusion, enabling equitable access to education, health, and economic opportunities.
