Health Programs
Health is central to the dignity and wellbeing of women and girls with disabilities. MPWDA works to ensure they access services without discrimination and with dignity.
Through awareness campaigns and training, we empower adolescent girls, young women, and parents with accurate information about reproductive health. This enables informed choices and reduces cases of child marriage, early unions, and teenage pregnancies.
We also engage health workers and duty bearers to address specific needs of persons with disabilities, ensuring health systems are inclusive and accessible to all.
Our Health Impact
Over the years, MPWDA has trained hundreds of girls and women to understand and demand their reproductive health rights. Our interventions also reach communities with HIV/AIDS prevention campaigns and support services, creating an informed and healthier society. By integrating disability inclusion in health, we advocate for systems that respect the rights of every woman and girl, regardless of ability
MPWDA remains committed to ensuring health services are responsive to disability needs, empowering communities to embrace inclusivity. Our vision is to see women and girls with disabilities make health choices freely, access services equally, and live healthier, fulfilling lives.
